Destry rolls over to her back, which I caught on video. She also rolled to her tummy this past weekend but we missed it. It was while she was in her crib for a nap.

She is getting better at sitting unsupported. Sometimes she can pull herself up after she leans back. Especially if there is something in front of her that she wants.

Destry is always happy when Clareese is around her. Usually when Clareese laughs, Destry laughs.

On Saturday we took part in the Helping Hands for Cancer 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) that is sponsored by CHN. The month leading up to the event is hectic since it is our department (Community Relations) that is in charge of it. It was worth the effort though. We had a great day.

Last year Clareese rode in the wagon a good part of the race, but this year she managed to walk most of it. She did ride on daddy's shoulders a couple of times. Destry was so good. I thought she would fall asleep in the stroller but there was too much going on. Dionne joined us again too. Brande didn't though. She went to Boston instead. (I don't blame her.) I think Scott said something about him actually running next year. We'll see;)

As you can tell from the first picture, Destry wasn't feeling too well. Last Monday she came down with a stomach virus. Or, maybe she had a little too much to drink Sunday night (thanks to Grandpa). By Tuesday (3rd picture) you couldn't tell she was sick. Her fever had broke but she is still having trouble keeping things down at times. She's happy as can be though.

Destry is six months old today. She's growing so fast. Tomorrow is her doctor visit. More shots. I'm not looking forward to it!
